The Irvine fitness company will expand its offices about 30% with a move into 91,000 square feet at the Michelson, landlord Emmes Realty Services of California said.
Mon, 06 Feb 2012 Atlanta's 55 story Bank of America Plaza is set to be sold at an open outcry auction on the steps of the Fulton County Courthouse after landlord BentleyForbes missed mortgage payments. It bought the skyscraper in 2006 for $436M from Bank of America Corporation and Cousins Properties in the city's biggest property deal. Since the property market peaked a year later, the 1.25M square foot building has lost 54% of its value, Bank of America, its largest tenant, has reduced space and bond investors who helped finance the purchase are on the hook for losses.
Sun, 05 Feb 2012 Celebration will get its first full-size grocery store in years with the resale of a retail center at the development's front entrance on U.S. Highway 192. An investment group acquired the 120,000 square foot Water Tower Shoppes for $18.3M and plans a $4.5M to $5.5M renovation. The center, built in 2004, had a Gooding's Supermarket for about five months in 2005.
Fri, 03 Feb 2012 Boston-area hotels continued their recovery last year, with occupancy, daily room rates, and overall RevPAR all rising, according to reports by the hotel consultancies Pinnacle Advisory Group and PKF Consulting USA. The nearly 74 percent average occupancy was the highest since 2008, according to PKF, and 2011 average room rates ($171) and revenue per room ($126) were the highest since 2009. |
